Stichodactyla gigantea natural fish symbionts

Stichodactyla gigantea natural fish symbionts:

A. akindynos
A. bicinctus
A. clarkii
A. ocellaris
A. percula
A. perideraion
A. rubrocinctus

which species is the most aggressive anemone defender?
how do bicinctus stack up against clarkii?

My A. akindynos breeding pair defend their gig like a dog but they seems to calm they dont go after me if im in the tank and their working on their 6 clutch.

I have a leucokranos now and its a bully....

My bicinctus are just fine so are my percula but the clarkiis will draw blood. Doesn't help that the female is 5".

I think it depends on the personality of the individual fish. I have saddle back, sebae, clarkii, maroon, ocellaris, and the only fish I have that bites is a percula.

I agree re: individual fish.. Soem of my percs are really nasty when protecting, and others could care less. My saddlebacks are very gentle, my clarkii arent as bad as I thought they would be..

Yep, there's a huge difference between individuals. I've worked with some bicinctus that would draw blood any time you put your hand in the tank and others that wouldn't leave the anemone if you were even standing nearby. In the wild I've had some that would come and attack you if you were within 15 feet and others that would take off across the reef as soon as they saw you coming.

yes. I need some nastier clownfish to defend my anemone better.

Ive got a huge breeding pair

Ive got a huge breeding pair

Id be willing to part with mine if someone has link to some small juvi leucokranos.

Female is 4inches and the male is 3, Been laying clutches since June 8th.

I vote for A. rubrocinctus (if it is wild caught), if it is t.r. like the ones from ORA, they are mini chickens. My justification, they are tomato complex.

Like everyone has stated, each fish is going to be different, but my Clarkii pair -- while wimps when it comes to my hand -- are great at protecting their Haddoni. I used to have 2 Haddonis in their tank, and my blue face angel will go after the un-hosting one, but wouldn't dare go after the hosting one.
