Stichodactyla tapetum (maxi mini) photos

I just received my black maxi mini anemone a few days ago. Now, I am up to 11 different colors and I have cut them a few times so I have about 30 floating around. Just wanted to share.

I received four new maxis on Friday. They messed up my order so I have two more coming.

Here they are chilling in my mangrove tank before I cut them each into three pieces.

Yes, I know this one looks bleached. I wanted to see how it adapts over time.

I have the same problem with this rock. The orange one on that rock was the first one I ever received and the only maxi never to be fragged. I have put a maxi jet on it for 5 days and no movement/hung upside down. I guess it will just be my show rock.

I received 9 more mini maxi anemones of various colors. I cut them immediately and put one in the display tank and moved the rest into the maxi frag tank that I set up with 4x 39w T5's (2 ati blue, 1 ati purple, 1 ati sun). Thanks to Johnny C for the frag tank.

I got 3 or 4 a few months ago they keep splitting but they all stay together on the same rock, probably 8 or 9 now, hard to tell

Maxi's are splitting or mini's? I didn't realize the maxi's split naturally..huh.

Yeah, they are not known to split naturally. I don't think they are maxi mini anemone. I know mini anemones do split.
