So I'm still trying to get the hang of taking tank pics w/ my camera that will accurately capture the colors of my acros but for now I'll share what I just took. Sorry for the blurry effect...

Also still trying to get the hang of posting pics on this forum so if these don't come through bear with me while I try, try again. :D

Thanks everybody! :D

Gary, I have 1 female lyretail anthias, 3 green chromis, 1 firefish and 1 sixline wrasse. They've all been in there for a couple months now w/ no disputes. The anthias was first, then the chromis and lastly the sixline and firefish went in at the same time. I'm wondering if the female anthias will turn male without any others in there w/ her... the only color change I've seen so far is the tips of the tail seem to be darkening up a bit.

Very nice. Did you use a tripod? If not, I'm sure your pics would sharpen up immediately. Set the camera for apeture priority; set it at 4 or so for a longer depth of field; and put it on a timer.

-Didn't use a tripod as I just have a tiny one that would need to be set on something to see tank level. I have a Nikon Coolpix 4600 and can only find options for white balance and exposure. Would changing one of those help? I've messed around w/ them a bit but my adjustments always seem to make it worse. It does have a timer I could use w/ the tripod though...

Can't wait to see it after its grown in.

-I can't either! Every day I'm looking at the new growth as the bases encrust the rock around the frags. I'm pretty well out of real estate around the acros and may even have to move some as they all grow but I did leave myself a couple of spots lower down to add some corals if the need for something new starts biting me... :)

I know the feeling. Man Acros grow really slow when you stare at them all of the time. I find myself "lecturing" the tank when I notice that my frags ar encrusting rather growing new branches. Too bad theres no "Mircle grow" for corals.
