I'm no expert on this at all, but this is what I did with mine. The clowns were staying that the other side of the tank. The tank is 6 ft long, so I don't think they even noticed the anemone. I took a net and slowly cased/shooed them toward the anemone. They stayed on that side, but still ignored the anemone. The next morning the male was hosting and later that day the female joined him. I don't know how long it normally takes. I've read some clowns start hosting as soon as the anemone is put into the water and others take months. So I feel lucky mine did it so quickly. Hope yours start hosting soon! Would love to see some pics. Also what kind of clowns are they? I've read that it takes longer for tank-raised clowns to start hosting.
