Sting Ray got stung by carpet anenome

I was wondering if fish usually recover from a sting. If so how long does it take them to recover. I have a teacup stingray and he swam right into the large carpet annenome. I got him out in about 1 minute. He seems okay but I was wondering what the trend is.

If he's stung all over chances are he won't make it. (in my experience) I hope he's ok for you.

Why would you mix a bottom dwelling carpet with a carpet that also sits on the bottom in the sand .
That would be my question.

I did a search of teacup stingray and it's a freshwater Ray so I'm not sure.

Fish that got stung my Haddoni or Gigantea usually do not live past 24 hrs

His post makes no sense no way a teacup stingray survived in salt water and at salinity near 1.020-1.025 no way that a freshwater ray could convert over.
