So I was messing with my Alk and as a result I had a pretty big swing. This blue acro I have started to STN. What's the likely hood that it will recover? My Alk is once again pretty stable but I fear the damage has been done. Here are a few pics:
It was in the mid to low 7's and went to the mid 9's. I'm afraid I may have also had a PH swing during that time because I switch from Recipe 2 to 1. I was also using chemi-clean. All of this going on around the same time may have caused this. No other corals are affected.
Does anyone know of any procedure to help stop the STN? For example right now it's along the top of the rock work. Would lowering it help at all? Shorter light duration, etc.?
