Here is what I am hoping will work for my 72g bowfront FOWLR...

-2 Ocellaris Clowns (already in tank)
-1 Copperband Butterfly
-1 Flame Angel
-1 Koran Angel
-1 Yellow Tang
-1 Wrasse (Not sure which type yet...anyone have any suggestions?)

Thanks!

The list is pretty good but you may have problems with the yellow tang and the Copperband. I would probably skip the Copperband as they're not easy to keep. Also you want to get a small Koran as it will need a 6' in time as they do get large.

Will I have a problem keeping the two angels? Will they possibly fight?
Well one's a dwarf angel and one's a large angel. They're from different genus's so shouldn't be TOO much of a problem.

I would definately either choose the yellow tang or the copperband, not both as copperbands need docile tank mates and yellow tangs can reek havoc. If it were me I'd get the copperband over the tang, I have one now, and as long as you buy a healthy specimen and work with it to eat frozen foods, it should be fine.

Good Luck

that is a nice list and I agree with torno on the yellow tang, it is also very pron to ick. and you dont want to take a chance on making the rest of your tank mates subject to it.

A koran angel is a very large fish, and one that would not fare well for long in a tank that size. I would nix this one from the list. Agree with either the tang or butterfly. It's not a huge tank so stock conservatively with fish that won't outgrow it or be cramped.

A small Hippo or Kole Type tang would work. Also a Purple or Scopas and a small Rabbit fish or Foxface though some do get large.

So a small blue hippo would work in my tank? I thought they got too big?

If you get a small one the tank will be fine with a couple of years. Since the tank isn't a reef tank and your not going to have that much rock in the tank your going to have more open space which should be plenty for a Hippo but in time you'll have to upgrade to a large tank.

If you do get one don't get the very small ones, size of a nickel, as they have a bad survial rate. Get one that's atleast the size of a quarter or slightly larger.
