Stocking two established tanks; would appreciate your feedback.
I'd appreciate any feedback on either tank. Too much, just right, cost-effective colorful additions... etc.

Tank one: 29g reef tank, established for years. Just a few corals right now and no fish, but it's been ghost fed and is very stable.
Anemone + 2 Darwin Clowns
2 Firefish
3 Chromi
Snails
Peppermint shrimp
Emerald Crab
(eventually) tailspot blenny
(eventually) pistol + yasha goby

Tank two: 36g FOWLR tank. Lots of LR + LS, up for about a year to 18 months.
Dragon Goby (Sleeper banded sand-sifting goby)
Lawnmower Blenny
4 firefish
5 chromi
(eventually) red scooter blenny

That sounds like a very heavy bioload. I don't know much about FOWLER, but I think you are too heavy on the reef.
My BioCube 32 has 2 clowns, a Cherub Angel, an Orchid Dotyback, and a Goby/Shrimp pair. I consider it fully stocked. I suppose it all depends on your setup.

dust in water column

dust in water column

do you find with your shrimp goby pair that you always have dust
in the water column? I had a pair in my 15 gallon and they absolutely NEVER stopped digging and always a bit of dust in the water which I did not like but it was soooooooooo cool having the pair....

No. Maybe I am using larger sand?
The Yellow Watchman Goby doesn't dig; the shrimp does that. Totally rearranges my sand into little mountains and valleys. Covers up rocks/corals in the sand, and grabs and uses all my extra shells (for my hermits) as building materials. But doesn't dust out the water column.

nice

nice

nice combo you have there! Yes that sand is more coarse then mine was ..so thats great that no dust in water column from them digging.

Cheers
Tim

Fine sand has caused me tons of problems over the years. Bigger grain sand or crushed coral is a better route. That shrimp/goby pair looks great.
