Stock up on your corals

I hope we realize what we are doing to our oceans but sadly i think it may be for the worse not better. Man is greedy by nature. Sad to see.

I am big on ecology, but the statements made in the article are a bit counter-intuitive. They point to three big signs of mass extinction, which have apparently happened multiple times before, but this time all three signs are a direct result of humans. I just find it interesting that it has happened without humans, but now that humans are here, it MUST BE US doing it. Mass extinction seems to be a pretty naturally cycle every so often. Perhaps it is "supposed" to be happening again.

True, but, it should have been stated that we are accelerating the issues at a staggering rate, if anything.

This is why I'd rather buy aquacultured corals than wild. These corals not only seem to acclimate better, but I feel better about myself at the end of the day. Let's hope that life will still continue to grow in the ocean.
