Just finished cycling my tank.I have 125 pounds of live rock and 120 pounds of live sand.my reading are 0 ammonia,0 nitrites and 10 nitr
ates,PH 8.1,temp is 76.4,salinity 1.024,calcium is 400ppm and KH is 9.1.I think i am ready to start stocking and have plan for what i want ,but wanted some suggestions to make sure everything is compatiable. Planning on picasso trigger, niger trigger, naso tang, dog face puffer, regal angelfish, harlequin tuck and maybe some kind od lionfish. If this is OK what order should i put them in the tank.

I would rethink your stocking list as all those fishes get pretty large. Maybe one or two on the list and add smaller/schooling fishes to fill out the tank.

Way to many fish
Naso tang= gets to big 18 inches long
Picasso trigger= fine but some are aggressive not compatible with lionfish
Niger trigger= not aggressive good choice
Dogface puffer= great fish but will kill lion-fish
Harlequin tusk= pretty, wonderful choice
Regal angel= NOT for beginners will likely starve to death
Lion-fish= venomous( can sting you) and will be killed by triggers and puffers
Notes
. Make sure you have a good protein skimmer this is a large bioload

Thanks for your suggestions. I have aqua C remora pro protein skimmer. I have 2 hob filters and fluval 406 cannister filter do you think that will handle bio load.i do also have 125 pounds of live rock and 120 live sand.i am trying to keep semi aggresion larger fish any suggestions would be very helpful.

That stocking list is a no no.

Something like:

2 bluejaw triggerfish
1 honeycomb pufferfish
1 harlequin tusk
And maybe if you do enough water changes some sort of dwarf anglelfish, like the lemon peel or flame.

Good luck :)

Your filters and protien skimmer will not support your list they may support a list like KW22 suggested

Jeepers, you said 120 not 320 right? But in all seriousness that is way over stocked. As others have said 1-2 big fish and a couple small fish. Note I would not trust adult triggers with smaller fish. Also I am huge fan of the Picasso trigger wish I could put one in my tank.

For a 125, I would suggest one or two showpiece fish. I personally would prefer to see the tusk in a 180. Puffers have a great personality on their own!
