Hey guys I currently have a 45 gallon tank and will b getting a 55 for my birthday. I have 2 new fish in mind that I want to get and am curious if they'll all b ok in the 45 until I get the 55 set up. I'll start with what I have and put "(new)" next to what I want to add. The stocking list is as follows:

1 orchid dottyback
1 Ocellaris clown
1 yellow coris wrasse
1 coral beauty angel
1 mandarin goby -> eats frozen brine
3 blue/green chromis
1 scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp
1 red linkia star
1 blood red fire shrimp (new)
1 mystery wrasse (new)
1 flame angel (new)

Let me know what u guys think, if this is too much for even a 55 what tank size would u reccomend for this stocking list?

I would not put either one in with your existing tank mates. Mystery wrasses can be rather mean and likely wont end well in the long haul, trying to add a Flame angel with an already established Coral beauty is asking for trouble not to mention the added stresses of being in a tank that is really too small for one Angel let alone two.

Thank you guys, that was my concern with the additional angel... out of curiousity, once I get the 55 cycled and ready for fish if i added both angels at the same time would I have better chances or is it still too small of a tank for two? And does anybody have experience with the mystery wrasse? My LFS has one for sale and I thought it was a very beautiful fish would love to incorporate it with my stock list.

A 55 is still too small for both Angels. You need at least a 70 gallon just to keep 1 of them. Keeping 2, I recommend at least a 6ft, 125.

Just sharing my experience, I had 1 coral beauty and 2 clownfish in my 45 for almost 2 years and the coral beauty recently started to become very territorial and chase after the clowns :( I'm in the process of finding him a new home.

So 2 angels... probably not a good idea.
