Have a 90 gallon reef with sps, lps, and softies, with two black ocellaris and three green chromis, Also have a cleaner shrimp, and two conchs. I was thinking about adding a tang or goby or maybe even a blenny. Any ideas...looking for some colorful fish that are peaceful? Don't know if an angel would go with my crocea clam. Butterflies I have no experience with.

I have a copper band in my system with 2 clams and lps and some sps and have had no problems alot of the time they are hit or miss just depends on the fish angles i have no experince...

Well Copperbands are not always reef safe. FYI. I feed its first cousin, chelmon marginalis, clams; it eats them with gusto.

Is the tank covered? If not, I wouldn't add most gobies or blennies.

Red dragonets would be a good choice IMO. Perfect citizens, and ignored by most fish.

Hunt all day long for pods, bury themselves at night, scoot around half covered in sand in the morning.

No not covered...I was thinking orchid dottyback. If a scooter is like the other dragonets, my pod population isn't where I would like it for them, unless ORA dragonet for better feeding. I saw some nice yellow tangs at the store as well as blue tangs (hepatus). I have quarantine tank so selection may be broadened somewhat. Heard blue and flame angels might be a risk to corals and clams as well as the coral beauty. There doesn't seem like much to choose from when everything I read about a fish seems to have a drawback.

Hepatus tangs, which can reach one foot in length would not be a good choice for a 90 gallon tank. Yellow tangs would be marginal. No cover restricts your choices somewhat.
