Stocking for my 180G

Well, it's almost time to start moving all my fish over to my 180G. Here's my plans so far for fish in my tank; wondering what you guys think.

First the only fish I have already in the tank is a splendid dottyback(Pseudochromis splendens)

When I make sure it is okay, I'm moving these fish over:
Mimic lemonpeel tang - Acanthurus pyroferus
tomini tang - Ctenochaetus tominiensis
Scopas tang - Zebrasoma scopas
Scribbled rabbitfish - Siganus doliatus
Yellow rabbitfish - Siganus corallinus
Neon Cleaner goby pair
PJ cardinalfish pair
Clownfish pair(not sure which ones yet)
Mandarin dragonette pair

Other fish I may want are:
Green choris wrasse
Maybe an anthia trio
Possibly a CB butterfly
Maybe a fairy wrasse trio

Granted, I will not be getting all of the fish I may want, just a couple. I'm not trying to stock it to kingdom come. As things grow, I'm sure I'll be upgrading my tank along with them.

The only real issue I see is putting two rabbitfish in the same tank, but since they are both small, I'm hoping they'll get along. It looks like they are naturally schooling fish, so with bigger tangs around, they may even learn to find sanctuary with each other...best case scenario, of course:). The scribbled rabbit hangs out with the cardinalfish as it is and the yellow rabbit seems to follow the mimic around.

Sounds great! Can't wait to see it all stocked. Hell, it looks great now! After seeing yours, Keith is now wanting to go with a 180 or 210...lol...

Yep, I already know. My female eats frozen and pellets fine(coming from a 55G). I'll be putting her with a male who may be more difficult for a while. I already have pods in the tank, and the rock has been in a brute can for somewhere around a year to a year and a half.

Thanks K&T...if you go that big, you'll have room for twiggy:).

Very true!!! We still have a ways to go. Regardlss of what size we want, we still have to move at the end of the year so it'll be after that.

Seems like a little heavier stocking than my 180. I had mine stocked up more but felt like it was a bit overstocked and there was some aggression here and there so I took a couple of fish out and things seem smoother now.

My larger fish are:
sailfin tang
powder brown tang
scribbled rabbit
yellow coris wrasse

Then smaller fish are:
snowflake blenny
royal gramma
purple fish whose name I forgot :)
male & female mandarins
percula clown
3 green chromis

I think that's it.
I most recently took out a kole tang and an elegant coris wrasse.

I see you have a mandarin pair.
I have a male dragonette mandarin and have looked for a femal with no luck.
I thought about adding a female to my 55. I have a clown pair, 3 chalk basslets, 3 chromis, coral beauty and mandarin. My guy eats pellets as well and want to add a girlfriend.

He is a bit timid. Will a female get him out in the open more and will my tank support another fish?

cschweitzer...curious but how did you wean your female Mandarin on to pellets and frozen foods? Was it a process or did she just start eating for you one day?
