Stocking Nuvo 8

Hey all I'm not trying to start WW3 here but I was curious as to what, if any, fish I could keep in a Nuvo 8 by Innovative Marine? It's sold as an 8 gal. tank, however, I calculated the display volume to be approximately 7 gal. Plus, I'll be adding 8lbs of LR and sand as well. I've heard of people housing two clowns, and of people housing 0 fish. Some ideas that have crossed my mind are: yellow watchmen goby and firefish or royal gramma combo, perhaps one clown? Thanks in advance for your insight....

I'd stick to one fish in a tank that size. A yellow watchman goby and a tiger pistol would be fun to watch.

That's what I was thinking....I was a little unsure though after seeing live aquarias min tank size for them

My favorite nano tanks have always been occupied by various gobies.
I love the following species:

Trimma cana
Trimma rubromaculatus
Coryphopterus personatus
Eviota pellucida

Any of these fish would do very well in an 8 gallon setup. From my personal experience they do best in small groups, and make great reef fish.
