Stocking Two 24g NanoCubes (60g system)

They Got My Number
**This is a copy and paste from the nano forum so I can get some more input from you reef guys!**

I am currently building a system that will have two 24g NanoCubes plumbed together into a 20g long sump with a Bubble Magus NAC6 Skimmer. I have 99% of what I need I just need to get the tanks drilled and plumb them.

The first tank is a Reef tank and is already established (1" very live sand bed and 25lbs very cured rock) with some inhabitants. I would like to add 1-2 more fish to this tank:

Current Livestock:
  • Pair of Snowflake Ocellaris Clowns
  • One Helfrichi Firefish
  • One Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
  • One Emerald Crab
  • Various Snails
  • Various Micro-Fauna Hitchhikers
  • Various SPS/LPS/Soft Corals

I would like to add:
  • Single or Pair Swissguard/Cave Basslet
  • ....OR....
  • Flame Hawkfish
  • ....OR....
  • ***Recommend a Colorful Active Fish***

The second tank is currently empty and will be a display fuge with various Macroalgae/Mangroves, 15-25lbs very cured live rock, 4" sand bed, and no corals.

I am thinking:
  • Group of 5 Red Spot Cardinals from Divers Den
  • ....OR....
  • Pair of Bangai Cardinals
  • ....OR....
  • Pair of Orange Spot File Fish from Divers Den
  • ....OR....
  • **Make Some Recommendations**
  • Various Snails
  • Some Type Of Shrimp

This is going to be the setup (already set in stone):

Wonderful fish. But needs to be fed multiple times per day with smallish food.

I don't think I am going with them anymore, but if I do they would be on an autofeeder with a mix of NLS small fish fomula and Formula 1 flakes.

I know you just purchased a basslet but I have another one to suggest-obviously not to keep in the same tank.

This is the third one they have had up. I hesitated with #1 and snagged #2. This little fish is supposedly shy but I came home last night and he was just hanging out in the actinics. While he did hide when we had to change some corals around and the halides came on he was back out for feeding time. What a fun fish to watch! He swims in a really unique way and is very fast. The color is great and from what I have read these fish are very friendly. There is a yellow variant as well.
