Stocky Anthias - won't come out of the rocks!

My Stocky Anthias had been doing great for many weeks.

Lately, he hangs out by my intank overflow, or in the rocks.

He's alive and does move.

Last night, he was where I could see him and I looked at him with a flashlight, he looks fine! The other fish are great also.

Only thing I can figure is my large Royal Blue tang pushed him around too much? I have smaller fish, they're dong well.

Any ideas?

more than likely it's getting bullied by the tang....mine is one of my most aggressive anthias. The tang may have to be removed for a week or so then placed back in...I have to do this with my PBT. Only the one anthias?

Yes, I only have one Anthias at this time.

You may be right, that's all I can figure also. It's funny, b/c up until recently, it was no problem. I have plenty of room in my tank, but the Royal Blue gets across quick!

Royal Blue Tang; Yellow Tang;
Yellow Damsil, Yellow-tailed Blue Damsel

Any of these fish could be harassing. The Hepatus tang or the damsels would be my picks. Oh, and by the way, Hepatus tangs grow quickly to about one foot

Thanks,
The Damsels weren't in there yet when he hid.

He's still hiding, still alive, and from shat I can see, is doing well anyways.

If and when the blue tang begins to outgrow, I'll trade him in for his sake.

Well, he died.

I inspected him, so signs of illness or injury.

I got him out before he had any visable signs of decomposition.

All the other fish are healthy and happy.

Such is life.
