Last night I noticed a few empty stomatella shells on the sand bed. Today realized there are definitely a few more. Not sure if it is due to predator or illness.

I once watched an emerald crab peel one off the glass and start munching on it.

I just watched a cleaner shrimp do the same thing. Mystery solved.
