Hi, I see most posts on here talking about boosting macro algae growth. I have the opposite problem where the darned stuff is taking over my tank and smothering everything. I think i have at least 4 caulerpa species and a tiny bit of bubble algae in my main tank and a healthy ball of cheato and caulerpa in my refuge. The caulerpa outgrows the cheato but both are healthy. I have never had any go sexual as far as i know. I am currently in the process of breaking down the tank, scrubing LR clean to put in a holding tank and then I'll refit the main display after draining and cleaning it and the sump. Tank has been going about 2 years and the caulerpa algae is relentless. Current livestock 1x boxing shrimp, 2x green chromis and a few surviving soft corals. So any tips on getting rid/keeping rid of the main display caulerpa infestation please?
