Storage tank cover ideas

I have 3 40 gallons in my fish room closet (RO,Salt,and Kalk)and I would like a way to seal them off without having to purchase glass tops or arcylic.

I tried foamcore from hobby lobby but after a week I had mold growing on the bottom side of it. What has everyone else on here used?

Do you mean lids for plastic storage containers?

I have not seen a place to purchase 40 gallon breeder tank covers. But if i can that would solve my problem.

I've heard corrugated plastics work well. I actually just bought some for my 10g tanks, because I too didn't want too spend money on acrylic. I have not received them yet.
