Storing diluted vodka

So I take care of fish tanks at a museum. I can't be there 7 days a week, and we have trained staff take care of the tanks on the weekends. Though they do a good job with feedings, I do not feel comfortable with them measuring out tiny amounts of vodka accurately.

So my question is this: If I were to make up a small container of RO water (like in a recycled water bottle) and add my dose of vodka, about .5-1 ml depending on the tank, would it be able to sit for a couple days without losing effectiveness?

I think I read once that this could in theory lead to bacterial blooms in the container, should I keep it in the fridge?

Thanks guys, you rock!

If you have a freezer you could just make some vodka ice cubes. Pour a vodka dose into each individual cube-mold and then add enough RO water to fill each one. The vodka itself won't freeze, but the water around it will and will subsequently hold the alcohol in place. The freezer will obviously keep the vodka from decaying, so that issue would be solved. Then all your staff has to do is throw an ice cube in the sump or overflow and doesn't have to measure a thing.
