hi all I will be spending the winter in thailnad diving!!!
so my question should i leave my RODI unit dry or wet? I am guessing dry so the water does not no bad but thought I would ask.
I be gone for 6-7 months.

Are you going to winterize the house or they the heat stay on? That would be the only thing that I would worry about. A frozen ro/di would make a mess when it thawed out. Or if you empty it of water it would make the di resin go bad from the air.

Mine sat for 3 and a half years, with water in it. first time I made water for the restart, the numbers stayed up in the 20ppm area for about 2 gallons, just as I was about to turn it off and replace DI media(s).. it dropped to 2-3, then about 1/2 gallon later, 0-1. Have since made 100 gallons or so, all at 0-2..

it should not freeze as it will be stored in doors. but you never know it might get moved or something, as I am storing it @ my parents home that they don't use much...
