Storm Prep: Reminder

Sandbags are stacked and ready so my garage doesn't flood again this week. And have 4.6 gallons of gas available for the generator. :D

Fired up my old friend Honda on the first try after 5 years of sitting unused.:fish1:

Finally a sense of reason, I could not agree more with Saltwaternooby. So it's gonna rain and be windy. Are we in such a drought we have all forgotten what it's like. The news makes it sound as though it's never rained before! They have the entire city scared! There out of sand, and flashlights! Oh my what will do! Oh wait, same thing we do everyday. It's gonna be fine. Just watch out for the morons who can't drive in the rain.

Storm is not supposed to hit until today.

How many of you have had a reef tank and had a 10 hour power outage?
Stress levels go way up and it's better to be safe and prep, even if it's over prep, than to go through a long power outage.

That was the storm??? What ever happened to the forecasts that were to cause huge amounts of rain, wind, and flooding?

Total let down of a storm. If that is what you called the last two days of inclement weather :debi:

I know you're joking around, but 5" of rain in places like Santa Rosa is a lot of rain for one day. I do know of a few reef casualties from the storm yesterday. Really feel bad for the people up north who's houses were destroyed by 8" of rain. :(

I'm talking about locally only. KCRA made it seem that Sacramento was going to get the storm of the century. LA is getting hit with mud slides also. Yes, there are others counties that were WAY worse then we got.

If you look at the mountains and Folsom Lake now, yes. The lake is filling up VERY fast right now. :D

Note: Not trying to be insensitive to others that got dumped on, trees blown over, etc...
