I see that several parts of the metro area are under tornado warnings, and that you're getting nailed by some major storms...is everyone ok? We've had some thunder here, but nothing like you guys have. Hope everyone's ok! I'm off tomorrow and will be heading to the city, so if I can be of any help to anyone please let me know what I can do I'd offer to hold corals and livestock if power's going to be out for a long time, but I don't think my 24 gallon nano cube would be of much help :lol:

really strong wind and rain. several street signs blew down and it whipped up a bunch of dust. prob 65mph winds here.

Same here. If my power goes out, I am wondering if stlsaltwater (Tony) or DrRBC (Roy) have power or a generator? AT least for my SPS until the power comes back. I have like 8 or 9 now and would hate to lose them. Especially the nice piece I got at GWA's grand opening sale.

Roy or Tony, you guys have the means? (I.e. power when the lights go out)

I have a generator if needed. Lights flickered but never went. From the sound of things damage is pretty wide spread with thousands of power outage. I heard a tornado was spotted at telegraph and 270 and transformers were blowing so that doesnt bode well for Chad.

Hope all is well down there. If anyone knows about him let us all know if he needs generators

I'm in ballwin and I had a bit but think it's all gone...If anyone needs anything, my cell is 314-484-0383 so if you think you might need it, write it down because you won't have internet if you need help...I'm happy to help

I don't have a generator but what I've found helps is a standard 110 outlet that plug into your cigarette lighter so you can get quite a few things on a strip as long as it doesn't pull too much.

Worst of it cut just to the west of us. Could see the main "core" of the storm they were watching for rotation and was pretty scary looking. Had some brief outages here and have to say that I'm not comforted. While my aquacontroller did power my lights back on, it didn't power any of my pumps back on. Not sure what I did wrong in programming. Glad I was here to manually turn them back on. :hmm2:

Wow, Fox2 news is showing some pics from downtown STL and there's quite a bit of damage down there. Glass blown out, signs and lights down, damage at the new stadium...

There hasn't been any rain but plenty of thunder and lightning here! I have been taking lots and lots of pics, they'll be up shortly
