For some reason most of my fish are rubbing on rocks and sand, any idea why they are doing this? I see no signs of Ick on any fish right now, can i treat them with anything?

I had an Ick outbreak about 2 month ago, I treated with copper and they have been fine since, no stress but I do feed heavy, what would heavy feeding Do?

I'm also having trouble with my Hippo rubbing himself on the rocks (flicking) and I read it was most likely Marine Velvet or Ich. I don't think I have the luxury of treating my tank with anything because I have lots of sps....any suggestions?

mitch that is their way of telling you how disappointed they were for not getting that new larger home....

I've been doing the garlic thing, but the Hippo doesn't like it very much. The other fish seem to love it. I thought it might be because he is losing his appetite due to the illness, but he eats food that hasn't been mixed with garlic. I guess I'll just hope for the best or consider a Neon Goby.

Feed. My hippo has ick a few times. And has overcome it by me feeding it more than usual.
