I have this tiny green half round "thing". At first I thought it was some type of algae but then the little rock kept moving during the night. This morning I turned the rock again and found that the algae had moved. Also while watching it started to open and sensing me snapped shut again. I tried to take a picture but its very blurry. Any ideas?

Take it out and put it into a container with some tank water to get some clearer pics.

I have tried but this thing is about 1/4" across. If you remember Little shop of horrors this thing looks like a tiny version of the Audrey 2. It only opens slightly but you can see a white line and a tiny dark "mouth". I know this isn't helpful, guess I will have to wait and see if it grows. It is obviously a filter feeder since I am not putting anything in the tank but some food for my pods.
