Strange clear slime in live rocks

Probably a bacterial sheet. 20% water changes and are you dosing anything whatever?

How does it feel to the touch? Slimy, abrasive, firm etc? It kind of looks like a sponge of some sort IMO. (hence the holes/vents)

Good question. Sea squirt? Does it have any action? Sponge is possible, but I'm not seeing the holes...

Thanks all for the comments. I tried to touch it and it barely feels like a gel; however, I could not feel it much because they are in the crack of the rock.
I did notice an increment of yellow sponges in my tank. Is that desirable?
Because I have a coral beauty with a puffy eye, I started to treat it with Melafix.
if it is bacterial the product should take care of it.
I tested the levels in the tank and everything looks normal.in addition, I brought a water sample to my local shop and they also told me the water was perfect.
I will continue the treatment for a week. and then I will do a 25% water change.
Any other ideas?
Regards,
Igor
