I am new to the reef scene, I have a 90 gallon with about 30 corals, frogsporn, hammer, duncans etc...For fish I have 5 but the True Percula clown I have just swims towards the top never really venturing in the tank. The other fish which nobody messes with him are all over the place this little guy looks like he needs a map, all my levels are good temp is about 77.5 just strange that kind of just doesn't do much. I did get a small RBTA today for 15 bucks, good score so maybe that might intrest him, any ideas what could be up ? :fish2:

Tank raised clowns are used to getting food from the top, he is just making sure that he is first to the table :)

If you have had 'him' for any length of time 'he' is probably a 'she' now. :) A mate might help you get more interesting behavior out of her.

Yes it can be a different type. Just make sure it's smaller, and I myself try to stay away from maroons and tomatos too aggressive. If they remain a male ok, but if your present clown should die, and they become female then you would have a problems adding another clown. Gotta plan head if you can.

yea like everyone else said get her a mate i have a pair of false percs very interesting. they used to stay at the top now they move around the tank alot.
