Strange E-Mail

Well sir web master, dugg does know where the trojan came from. Dugg happens to know a few things about his computer, and scans his system daily. I've even been known to build a web page or 2 myself. It's not something you need a license for, or really even much of an education to do. I could probably teach my 2 year old to build one in a day or 2, so let's not get a big head about knowing how to type. I don't understand what the issue is with Charlie here, but the only comments i see above that are out of line didn't come from Charlie.
I too would like my info removed from comas. I have been to the site and tried to cancel my account, and found no place or way to do that other than to send an email requesting that it be canceled. You can consider this my request, since i am not planning to send any emails through the site since it has been compromised.
Also for your info, the link that was sent in the email did not take you to comas, but to a totaly different site that was meant to ressemble comas, but was www.forums/mycomas.php
Remember when this was a club of friends and not a group of snotty big headed people waiting to attack each other? Those were the days huh?

How can anyone blame the club for what happened? Are we supposed to do a security check on anyone that joins the website? I opened the message but didn't open the link because it was suspicious. People do this stuff all the time unfortunatly. Anybody who wants to quit the club because of something beyond it's control should. As for calling us names Dugg it's not nice to group everyone in an insult when you're mad at one person. Considering what I'm dealing with my tank at the moment if you're going to insult myself and people I consider friends be glad you're in Florida. I'm not in the mood for a hissy fit.

Dugg, I apologize if my generalization included you when it should not.
Computer geeks regularly get asked to help friends with computers - I have dealt with these sorts of issues quite often. When it comes to spyware & virus & trojan issues, the statements I made above really do generally hold true.
If you are one of the exceptions and actually ARE aware where the trojan came from, then I do apologize.
Also, I am more then happy to have you or your 2 year old help out with maintenance of the COMAS website. There is always good work to be done there, if you really have something to offer in that category.

Just think, all of this hostility could have been avoided if we all just would have gone out and bout a Mac. Hint Hint to those of you who will be planning where next years dues go.

all did was to make a simple request as to remove my contact info from the comas site( i tried myself and couldnt!)
i have been on RC since 2002 and i have never ever gotten that kinda spam here.....ever! ( spam as in click this link)
i didnt feel like the spamming was anything wanted or needed
and just wanted my contact email removed
i see dugg got an apology but i was just " not playing nice?
