Hmmmm...took about five days to see this guy...still looking to ID...just found him about 10 minutes ago.

it kinda looks like a smaller shark or bottom dweller .. the only I can find that look like this one is from australia so that can be right I am still looking for it though.. what dose the rest look like if you have seen him??

He's shy to be sure...likes big holes in the large rock or crevices under things. Has circle-like dark fins and a mottled pattern making him nearly invisible agains the darker live sand. I was looking right at him and didn't see him for a few minutes when I spotted him.

looks like a toadfish to me, maybe an oyster toadfish or a sapo bacon toadfish, depends on the size, sapo is smaller. youll prob wanna sell it because it will probably eat crabs shell fish and other fish, or setup another tank for it.

if its an oyster toadfish, watchout cause suckers have been known to take thumbs off up here in the bay... lol... very powerful bite for breaking open shellfish

Okay...so he needs to go since I'm not going to build him his own dwelling at this point. Anyone in the market for a toad fish?

I got one with my TBS rock too! At first we thought it was a lawnmower blenny or tiger goby but the stripes were off.

What do they eat? So far he hasn't hurt my crabs or peppermint shrimp but I'm a little worried. Should I take him out?

Everything I've read and I've done some looking would prompt to say...get it out, it's one nasty fish!!!
