Strange looking creature

This creature is approx. 2" long, it is projecting from a hole in the live rock. The white part of it was extended much more than photo shows and thought I saw small tenacles at the tip.

Okay to keep?

went to there refered web ID page. This is the stuff nughtmares are made of! I will never go in the ocean agian! I am not turning out the lights! And I am getting a gun, or a big dog, or a industerial box of maracyn 2......

It's definitely a peanut worm. You even managed to get a nice shot of the anal shield which is one of the identifying characteristics.

Enteropneustids pretty much never show up in the hobby. Chuck went out and collected his himself, which is about the only way you'll get one. You also won't find them dangling from rocks since almost all of them are sand dwellers. Most are measured in meters too, not inches- they tend to be very big animals.
