Strange salt, need comments

I bought a barrel "Reef Crystals" salt in LFS. BUT, today I found a label on the barrel says "Instant Ocean, Aquarium Sea Salt/Reef Salt, For industrial Use only". How strange!

Anyone has the relevant knowledge or experience? Is it a phoney? Thanks!

OK, here's what I was told by an official of the company. It seems as if it is a normal batch of product.

That sticker is for a few specific offshore customers we ship to. It is a requirement for getting the product through the freight forwarders and customs.

It does not reflect any formulation changes inside the pail, an IO pail with that label is packed with standard IO salt and a RC pail with that label is packed with standard RC salt.

Only people that buy our salt in a few places in the world that are supplied by a handful of distributors will ever see these labels.

I believe it has to do with the duty fees or import tax that is charged for commercial use vrs personal use by customs.
