strange toadstool behavoir.....help....maybe

I have 3 leathers in my 24g aqua pod
the leather in question is a reg toadstool and it is in the left rear
I then have a devils hand in the left front of the tank
and another toadstool in the rear right of the tank.

*info in case there is chemical warefare going on I dont know about


ok, here is the problem, my toadstool on the left rear has seem to split into quarters all the way down to the bottom of the base and is know growing as 4 toadstools.

I have had toadstools for a number of years and nothing like this has ever happened. atm it appears healthy and growing.

has this ever happen to anyone? should I be conconcered?
could this be caused by warefare among the leathers?

no concern, you should be happy. youre a daddy Mike! they will split just as anemone's will. good husbandry now you may sell your babies. or just have more TS's. REEF-ON!!!

That's very interesting. I have a large toadstool, over 15" across, and it has never done anything like that. It does have a rather deep crater in one area where I guess it once got cut but didn't go all the way thru. It's been like that before I got it and I've had it for a couple of years now.

I'd agree that if they are growing, everything is fine.

No worries. My toadstool split in two and it took about two months
