Picked up a nice frag from Unique Corals a month ago. It was hacked up pretty good when i got it. It has settled in nicely, keeping it's color and growing at an incredible pace. All the stumps have healed and new growth has begun. It has also encrusted the branch that i glued it to. Gonna be a great one!!! Sorry for the bad pics , will work to get a few better ones.

what a lovely piece.

does anyone have pictures of a bigger colony? interested to see what they look like.

I had a post about this exact piece about a month ago. MGNY your frag looks great! I got my piece at MACNA and is holding its color really well too. My piece does not have growth tips yet but is encrusting nicely with great PE night and day. I agree with you that it looks to be a very promising piece. What type of lighting do you have? Also I'm jealous since it looks like you got a much bigger frag than I did :( BTW looks like you got a really nice tank as well!!

wow. that's a BEAUTIFUL colony.

jon, it's probably just adjusting to your tank. mine do that too. it'll come right back.

Hugo brought his colony the last day of reefa...it looks just as pretty like the pic, even my frag.

Dang Mike! You weren't kidding when you told me that bad boy was growing! Looking good, definitely one of the nicest newer acro's out there

I almost bought a frag at MACNA for $80 but backed out because of it being a 3 day old wild colony. Just made me nervous. I will see how it does in a few tanks then get a frag if it hangs on and acclimates to captive life! It is def a sweet acro and looks 10x's better in person......

Gotta luv it Kev!!! This is why naming a coral and keeping track of lineage is so important to diehard reefers. To me these corals are a piece of history. Hopefully 50 years from now you will be able to get a frag of one of the named corals and trace it's lineage. That is cool!! At least to me it is. Glad you guys picked an original name for it. I think it's real important to be original when naming one. Hate it when someone decides to name a coral and copies . It ruins the past lineage and just adds confusion when looking to purchase.

Hey Kev! Nice talking to you the other day! Make sure you take care of that Scoly for me ok?:lmao:
Mgny what kind of light do you have your shortcake under??
