That does not surprise me at all. I went to UC's retail store in NYC, and the guys there were very pushy and did not pack my frags all that well. They seemed to be in a rush and just wanted to move along. So, the fact that they didn't take care in shipping seems to fit just fine to me. It is a nice store, but prices are sky high, and that along with the lousy customer service means I wont go back to them.

Yea I hope these make it. But I won't be ordering from them again. One of the three ssc frags looks ok just needs to color up. The other two are crap. I would be ashamed to ship such subpar frags to anyone. One even has a dead tip with algae growing on it. I sent them a email and will see what they have to say about it tomorrow. Here is a pic of the two crapy frags sorry it's a little out of focus.

Wow, I know not to waist my time or money on a cab to tour there shop now. If you guys want quality frags I got my SWEET Strawberry Shortcake at Live Aquaria.

I guess they redeemed themselves. After I emailed them the owner called me and apologized. He also explained that the girl who shipped these frags was new and should have never sent these. He gave me the option to reship with freebied or to get a full refund. So I took the refund. So I got a refund and one of the three looks like it should be fine. He also gave me his personal cell# and said if I want to order again call him and he will hook me up right. So all and all I'm satisfied and may buy from them again in the spring.

Nice corals guys..........This is making me want a tank again! I had to tear mine down when I moved last year. I almost bought a frag of this at MACNA 09 in Atlantic City. They had a wild colony and I could've got a frag for $80. But I wasn't sure it would make the trip back to FL without too much stress to kill it. With the shipment to MACNA then to FL so I passed. Wish I would've done it now. So I would know someone with a frag! I will get this one when I start my tank again....

I have had bad experience with them as well. After ordering $400 worth of corals I was given the run around with no response to my emails and phone calls to arrange time to ship. They compensated me with a half dead chalice frag that if healthy would cost $10. That's what I call adding insult to injury. Will never order from that sire again.

I am pretty sure Unique reads this stuff. That is why Buy Baff got the Royal treatment. I will not do business with a company that you have to beg for a responce after they screw up. I can speak very highly of Live Aquaria. I do have an order in with World Wide Corals so this is there shoot at getting more business from me. I am sorry you had to find out the hard way about Unique Corals Buy Baff and Vivek but thank you for letting us know.
Dan, I have been on the lookout for a SSC from Live Aquaria for a while now with no luck. A local friend got one months ago and it was doing really well for him. I recently picked one up from Cherry corals but it did not make it. They are sending me another one out next week. I am crossing my fingers but the track record for the SSC is not good at all. I've tried a few from UC and they just don't make it. It is a very finicky coral it seems.

Hey Alicia. Great to see you back on the board. I agree with you the SSC is very finicky. I was able to tour Live Aquaria in Reinlander WI. Kevin had a few mini colonies of the SSC in his broodstock. He frags them periodically. Please let me know if your frag from CC makes it or not
