I just put two 6000 on a double controller and thought I did th eset up by the book. Maybe I just did not get it right, or something. Both pumps are mounted on opposite corners of a 215rr, one left front, one right rear, facing pretty much at the opposite end of the tank. They both are running, but I am not certain about the setup on the controller, if I am getting maximum power when htey are supposed to be at 100%. I want them to create a variable flow but at times be at 100%. And as they sit right now they certainly do not seem to be strong enough, and was wondering if it was me or do I need to upgrade these to the 6100?

i'd have went with 6100's on a 215 myself, especialy if it's an SPS tank.

From all the discussion and not kknowing anyone taht actually was running them I was not sure. I have a pretty deep sand bed and from the stories about them blowing sand all over. I thought that was possible what was going to happen to me, so I went with the smaller ones. Well that is certainly no problem, the sand has not even begun to be disturbed by them. In fact at the other end of the tank, I do not have what was there in flow with the maxi-jets. I could certainly use the 6100s.
