Stream 6000 Wire Help!

I was doing my routine maintenance on one of my stream pumps and noticed something where the wire goes into the back of the pump. The wire cover is broken away from the back of the stream. I don't see the actual copper from the wires, but each individual wire is visible. I'm too afraid to put it back in the water now.

Is there anything I can do? Do I send it back in? I haven't had them for a year yet?

BTW, their really shouldn't be much danger of contamination as the inner wires are still insulated and they are embeded in the resin where they make their connections to various components. I have seen a few pumps like this and it seems like they all came from a batch made last summer and the cords were not fully inserted in the strain relief bushing. If you PM me an address I'll get you taken care of.

Wow! Great service! I'm glad I bought Tunze also. Roger, do I need to register mine or anything in case anything ever happens?

No, the receipt is all you need, we go by production date if the receipt is missing.

It is stamped on the pump, generally given the shortages they are at most 2 months old when you buy them.

Roger,

I sent you a PM with my contact information, is there anything else you'll need from me? I just want to make sure.

Thanks!

Brian
