Stream in a 36" long tank?

Is this advised? Would two be too much for the tank's constuction to handle? Tank will be a mixed reef, will have a sand bed, will have a refugium, and will be 36" by 24" by 26" fwiw.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It won't destroy you tank....bursting from the seams and all...Anyway, which Tunze Streams were you thinking of? It depends on you fauna and the Stream model you choose...

Either a 6060 or a 6010 kit. I'd like to mount it in their deco rock to keep the tank as clean as possible.

Thanks for the info.

If you want to hide a Tunze either get a deco and make it fit right or incorporate inventively...

If the main focus is SPS or leathers then a 6000 stream with single controller would be fine. If your focus will be LPS and polyps or other softer corals a 7400/2 is a better choice. My old reef tank was a 36 * 24 *24 and I used a 7400/2 to keep a couple SPS a lot of Blastomussa, cup corals, polyps and favias. It worked very well.
