stream mounting

Will it cause any harm to the stream if I just epoxy a stream to a Magnavor magnet to mount it on my tank I was just told another 5 weeks before the holder are again available by a retailer. TIA I need to add another stream and have no other way to mount due to the tanks construction and coral growth.

I wouldn't do it that way, I might epoxy the rail or something easily replaceable to the magnet so you don't waste a pump. I actually expect we will catch up on magnets in a couple more weeks. Honestly I would be patient.
