Stream positioning in a 180?

New 180 with center back overflow. Tank is standard 6'x2'x2'. I have the TS 24 kit (2 6100s and a 7095 multi).

Where shoud I put the streams and what direction should I face them?

Currently I have them on the sides about 6 inches in and down facing each other across the rock. Should I turn them more towards the front and bank the flow? The tank returns come in through 2 SeaSwirls that are set in the back one on each side of the overflow, so random currents are not a problem (yet).


Also, what setting should these be on? I have them (I think) on program #2 (one on @ 30% while the other is 100%).

This is largely trial and error, I recommend Interval 2 with a 6 hr interval and a 3 second pulse between 100 and 30%. The generic recommendation is back corners to front center but everyone layout is different and you just need to find what works best for you.
