Streams 6100's

Hi Roger,

I have 2 6100 streams and the older 7094 multicontroller. First of all I would like to thank you and the Co for coming up with one of the best products I have ever invested in for my sps tank. I have really enjoyed my streams.

I have been using them for 1 yr now with 0 problems. I have heard at some point some parts need to be replaced. Can you please verify what parts and what time frame they will need to be replaced. Impeller etc. And where these parts can be purchased.

Thanks, the only normally wearing parts are the drive unit 6080.60 and this can last a few years, two years is the earliest it should really have to be replaced unless it was run in harsh conditions with a lot of suspended debris or not cleaned often enough.

I sell them and Marine Depot usually stocks them so do many local dealers.

Okay. Sounds great. I do clean them often, and they are not ran harshly. How do you know when they do need replaced?

Usually the brake shoes break or the magnet cracks, it is a sudden failure and usually not a gradual thing like they slow down.
