streams cleaning scheudle and procedure?

How often would you clean a stream 6101 and how do you clean it.

I have pulled out the propeller and it's one whole magnet unit and will pop right back in. Where are the bearings etc

Every 3-6 months. This varies with calcium/ KH and Magnesium levels as well as pH. In standard saltwater conditions of 400ppm calcium, about 1350ppm Mg and 8-10KH and a pH of 8.2 every 6 months should be fine. Higher levels require more maintenance. The manual shows how to remove the bearings. The drive unit and pump should be cleaning in 50/50 vinegar and water until all lime deposits are removed.
