stringy extensions on Pavona

woke up to pavona having longer stringy extensions on it. I will say the tank temp dropped last night - the overflow sensor fell in which turns of the return pump and the heater (which is in a box - doh!) - all around temp stayed around 76 - circulation was on, though no aeration from the skimmer for 5 hours.

any thoughts?

Wow. The look like sweepers, I just couldn't get over the length. Those things are huge! How aggresive is the sting from pavona?

I might need to relocate this piece...

Move it. It can damage near by corals.

Pavona's can be nasty. I used to have a big green plated one like that and it had sweepers that were at least a few inches long. Give it some room.

monti cap below, tri-color bali above, some other acros. I have thing pretty tight right now. I'll post a better pick when I get home!

sure does look good there! sweepers are about 1.5" !

I'll be relocating the pavona tonight and replacing it with something else
