Mike, I have something going on that afternoon which I probably won't be back from til around 5 pm, so I can't help at the earlier time. If you happen to not have it until later in the day, please post if you still need help and I can get down there pretty quickly to help. Otherwise, good luck with the new tank.

I have picked up 3 of their tanks, and have yet had them load it.. Each time I have picked up a tank there was a lady, and one guy.. but then again the smallest tank I picked up was a 180, and the other two were 225 plus.. I would definitely ask before assuming.

That is the impression I was under with them also, is the tanks is going to ge 75, or maybe a 120 are smaller, they will load it, But if it is larger, they don't have the man power to load it for for, Personally thing it more of a matter of responsibility, than manpower. A tank that big, is very hard to handle, if something happens, they rather it be your responsibility than theirs. But this is just an observance that I have made, seeing how things have been done overs the years. Otherwise, I would think that would be something that would have to be prearranged before shipping.
Maybe give Glass Cages a call, and find out for sure that they are sending the manpower needed to safley move the tank to you truck, If not, then you will know haw many you need to bring with you.

Well, I have called them and they said that they have the manpower to load the tank. However, based on everyone's comments I'll choose not to believe them.
So here is my plan.
1) Picking up the tank - I'd appreciate any help I can get meeting me at Watson and Lindbergh at 11AM on Sunday to help load the tank. I have one guy lined up and possibly a second but I'd really like to find at least one more person. You won't need to follow me back to my house. I will not be moving the tank to the basement until 4PM and will solicit a different crew to help with that.
2) Moving the tank to the basement - Please let me know if you can be at my house at 4PM on Sunday to help move the tank to the basement. Again, beer and pizza will be provided. If I can't get enough people to help then I'll try and find another time.
Let me know if you are pretty sure you can help and I'll PM you my address.

HOWEVER, the Viking(where you're picking the tank up from) is a mere 10 minutre drive from my place, and I'd be more than happy to lend a hand if need be. My cell is 314-566-8188. Give me a call saturday evening or Sunday(whenever you get there) and let me know if you need my assistance. I can do it hungover, just don't want to wake up if I'm not gonna do anything. Let me know!

Well, I'm sure we'll still be there at that time. You are more than welcome to come over after the tank is moved and have some food and drinks. That's what I did when Stupid got his tank - I arrived conveniently late.
I'll be at my daughter's soccer game in Edwardsville until about 3PM so I won't be back until 3:30-3:45.

That right there is just plain funny, I don't who ya are that's funny :lol2:
Rich, scarecrow & myself will be there today around 4ish most likely earlyer than that to intise the wifey to hit U with the Iron-skillit ( after we move the tank in )
She could then take all the credit, arm in a sling & your head all wrapped up :lol2: You'll learn to "Toe the line" from on now
