i purchased a rose buble tip about two months ago.......

for a bout a month it moved continuesly from the back to the front of the tank.....and would not let me feed it....

in the last month it has moved next to another bubble tip.....and comes out when the lights are on......

i have been trying to feed it and it has eaten a few times.....but as soon as its touched it quickly goes back into the rock and then re emerges later....

my nitrates where a little high but they are back towards zero.........the other another bubble tip looks very healthy...

the problem is the bubble tip has gone white with only pink color on its tips....

is this dying>>????????

any suggestions on how to get it back to health

thanks

appreciate any help

Sounds like it just doesn't want food? They move on their own and its always best to let them do what they prefer.

You could also be experience what i have for the last 8 months, I have Rose bta in my 12 gallon nano cube with a ocellaris clown, the bta will eat, but from the day i put it in the tank it went to the paleish pink color, the tips still bubble out but not a real red or rose color present, So last night i moved the clown into my 125 tank and the bta is actually spilting into two, so maybe its just trying to get comfortable to do this, also try feeding it cyclopetes, or maybe dose your tank with Iron. Iron is a huge part of keepin BTA. the bubbles could go away with out it....
