This has an Advance VHO ballast that will run 2-6ft bulbs and Hamilton 250 watt MH. They both have around 10ft quick disconnect cords. $60

I also have a wave maker brand new in the box ($25). An Advance HO T5 ballast that will run 4-48" bulbs and is switchable so you can run two bulbs and switch the other two off. $40

What dimensions are the stand?

23.5" square. You could make a larger top and have it over hang the stand some if you need it bigger.

I'm not sure why they put in such a strange houseing. It does work fine though. Thats also why it $30.

Actually I think I'm going to pass 68sting that's one weird lookin' ballast lol.

Those are ballasts used for street lights. We had them up and running over the clubs tanks for 3 of our shows. I also used them over my 125 and then 300 for 4 months, till my electronic ballasts came in. They work fine, just a different housing.

The 400watt ballast is around 11" in diameter and the reflector is 17x19.
