Wait... you are going to attempt to get 6 chromis out of a running 75 gallon reef tank?

I once had to remove 3 of them from a 55 gallon FOWLR (no corals to worry about harming) and it took nearly 3 hours. This was using a custom (read "ghetto") fish catching device that was finally successful. The next step was to bring out the fishing pole.

They are not as dumb as they seem and are extremely fast when they need to be.

Pink zoos sound awesome. I'll wait to hear from ya.

Yeah I know, chromis are tuff. I will do it even if I have to drain down to 4 inches and net em. But I don't think I'll have to. It may take a few days though... I will get em comin' up to surface for food... hit the lights quick and they are dazed... then net them. It worked for my blue hippo who is very skiddish, and my clown. Both in stocked tanks. Anywho,

Hey just sent a pm to ya, emptied out my box, and yes WOULD LOVE SOME ANTHALIA!
Struggling on the chromis - but am determined. I may have to drain her - but I caught my other fish by trying often... it may take a little while but I WILL get them. I'll keep you posted - and I'll be making some more attempts today.

No Biggie for me for next weekend instead!

I just checked my calendar for next weekend. Between work and 4 little kids, there isn't much free time next weekend where I can get away from the house... I could make it out to your place Saturday morning maybe between 10:30 to noon, or Sunday from around 1-3pm.

In case it is an option: If you need to do any shopping or anything on the Northwest side of town (I'm 1 mile west of Hoffers), I'll be at home on Friday and Saturday from 8pm on, Saturday 8AM-2:30PM, or (Superbowl) Sunday from noon on.

My wife said she'd help me drain and refill tuesday night so I'm thinking that's gonna have to do it. I need to move my tank a little anyway.
