Stumped!

Can anyone ID these things? They have a fleshy stalk (not calcareous). No one has been able to come up with anything so far (they aren't in my tank, but someone else I know)!

I can't identify them, but I am curious about them. They look like GSP mated with palys.

(On a side note, my wife and I have to run out to Walmart for more filter floss tonight and we should pass near your house. If you still have any of the mounted xenia, I'd love to pick some up.)

I believe those are Majano anemones, pest type close to aptasia

I agree on Majano. Much better looking, and slightly less annoying then aiptasia.

Oh I have tons of majano in my tank, and they look nothing like those! Is there more than one morph of majano?

Those are majanos. I had a tank full!

I have seen lots of colors and shapes of those, they can be really colorful and some people keep tanks or sumps of them. At least the look pretty vs the ugly aptasia
