Will the geo 618 reactor be enough for a 215 mixed reef 1/2 softies/zoas and 1/2 sps- total vol. of about 280gal.?

What size CO2 tank should I get-5 or 10lb- how long will it last ?

Does anyone use the Reefkeeper 2 to control PH, I planned on using mine and wondered how well it worked?

The 618 should be fine. GEO recommends the large, schuran type media.

I'd go with the largest you can store. I use a 20lb bottle as I have planted FW tanks that require large quantities of CO2. The bottle lasts until it's empty; how much CO2 you require will dictate how often you will be refilling.

It really depends on what you have in your tank. A lot of SPS and coralline (especially) will suck up the CA and Alk. I have a 624 on my 90 and like it. I figured it was worth the $50 to upgrade but the 618 is probably fine. I was using a Korallin 1502 and it was pretty maxed out on my tank. I use a 10# tank and it probably lasts about 6 months or so. I use the Gen X media as it is cheaper than shuran and works very well.
