ok so is there any danger to putting a 250w mh about 10" above the galss brace on my tank. i have a 180 now that has a 2' brace in the center. im running a pair of 400w se w/ lum minis on each side of it slightly angled to the center.
it looks fine and eveything is growing great but you know, its always bigger, better, faster, brighter with us sps types.
oh one other thing. i have a pair of closed loops on timers and when they are on, the water reaches the bottom of the glass. would this cause an issue w/ the corals under the light?
