substrate to get if i ever want a jawfish

was gonna do a layer of about 5inches of substrate in my new tank

which type works best if i want to ever get a yellowhead jawfish???

does the cheap stuff from home depot work????

I have a mix of fine to crushed and it seems to be working good.
